Amit Roy
Co-Founder, ThinkTanc & Watson's
The Iceman of Indian hospitality — quietly shaping nightlife for decades.
Amit Roy is the co-founder of ThinkTanc and Watson's — two venues that have shaped India's modern hospitality and nightlife landscape in ways most people don't fully realise. From silent discos to neighbourhood bars built without PR teams, Amit's approach to creating spaces is defined by craft over hype.
In Episode 14 of The VIC Fix, Amit tells VIC the full story — the philosophy behind the venues, the moments that defined them, and what it means to build something that lasts in an industry obsessed with the next thing.
The VIC Fix is hosted by DJ VIC — an international DJ and producer who performs at weddings, corporate events and festivals across India, staged as a signature audio-visual show.
“The best venues aren't the ones everyone talks about. They're the ones people can't stop going back to.”
